As promised on page one, here's a shot from my recent sojourn to the Rockies (mid-August). Animals learn there are areas in which they can trust us humans. One such spot is at a friend's hilltop 'A-frame' cabin off Highway 7 near Allenspark. While humming birds hovered and flew to-and-fro, some chipmunks (and one aggressive squirrel) would come close to get peanuts....
